The point of this website is to help others become more self-sufficient, healthy and joyful human beings.
A sovereign life requires a relatively healthy body and mind. You can’t have one without the other.
Unfortunately, most of us were not taught in school or by our parents how to correctly treat our bodies for sustained health, longevity and mental health, nor how to sanely approach work and play as adults.
I was forced to learn what health means the hard way. From the ages of 15 to 25, I had debilitating mental, physical and financial problems:
- Irrational phobias and obsessions
- Depression
- Eczema
- Acne
- Seborrheic Dermatitis (all over my face and scalp)
- Premature grey hair (starting at 14)
- Recurring bouts of pneumonia and bronchitis
- ADHD
- Learning disabilities
- Hypothyroidism
- Had a 1000€/month apartment at the age of 21. Earned 985€/month
Even as a teenager, I was stubborn enough to never even consider resorting to allopathic medicine. I didn’t want to just treat my symptoms, and failure was not an option. My Mom thought I was insane.
I bought thousands of dollars’ worth of all kinds of supplements, tried almost every diet known to man, and devoured forums, reviews, and a variety of books on human health.
Fortunately, the ten years of trial and error and non-stop research was not in vain. Apart from the grey hair , which I’ve accepted, the rest of the problems are bad memories, and my quality of life has increased tenfold.
Starting in 2019, I finally had the health and mental fortitude to get my life in order, and I’m thankful to both the internet and books, which introduced me to Eastern medicine, ancient health practices, and how to eat as our ancestors ate for centuries.
The internet also made it possible for me to not only learn how, but actually earn a living online, and I’m thankful.
This website is my way of paying it back. It’s a compilation of everything that helped, and everything I continue to learn.
Once I finally had the time to contemplate things other than my health and paying rent, I began asking questions:
- Why aren’t we taught health in school?
- Why aren’t we taught financial literacy in school?
- Why aren’t we taught how to think for ourselves and become more independent?
The answer is simple, obvious, and deserves little thought: Profit.
You are not profitable if you are independent of a lucrative system, so the education system and society in general is structured in such a way that you are encouraged to become hopelessly dependent when it comes to the most important areas of life: health, finances and general sustenance.
I should also mention that I left the United States to live in France at the age of 19, which taught me that we are programmed by whatever society we’re born in to varying degrees.
As in, had I been born in France, I would probably have different values and desires. For example, the French people have been conditioned to be good citizens in a socialist system. They are accustomed to bureaucracy and comfort, and I’m not saying that this is necessarily a bad thing.
I’m saying that we’re easily manipulated to fit into certain contexts, which aren’t always for our own well-being. It’s important to have the capacity to recognize the difference, and act accordingly.
Our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being depends on it.
